Take My Word: Kofi Kingston Will Win Money In The Bank
After this week's smackdown I was looking at the pretty-much final card for Wrestlemania 26, and one thing that surprised me, no wait, shocked me, was the absence of Kofi Kingston. Up until now, I thought Kofi would be in an inter-promotional, inter-continental match with Mcintyre, but now Mcintyre is in MITB. So where would that leave the man who was arguably the brightest star at 2009's end?
After thinking thoroughly about this, I finally think I know what WWE is planning. They are putting Kofi as a last second entrant into MITB in a shocking fashion, and letting him take MITB. I think he'll beat christian to it, because in all reality, he needs the MITB to boost his reputation up to the main event, where as Christian already seems he can do it without that briefcase.
But there also needed to be evidence that WWE was planning to do this, so I found out the hidden pieces. First, there are currently 9 participants in MITB, which is odd, considering the other MITB's had an even number, which means that one other is still hidden. Secondly, why would they leave Kingston, the man who was Randy f'n Orton's arch rival a couple months back, out of Wrestlemania, while letting men like Evan Bourne and R-truth in? Finally, Kofi hasn't even been in a MITB qualifier yet, which makes you think that WWE has something planned for him.
And if my prediction is right and Kofi is a last second entrant, there is no way they will make him lose. Really, the only real contender other than him would be Christian, but as I said before, Christian would have a much easier time making it to the main event without winning the briefcase (think EDGE.) Other than him, who would they let win? Evan Bourne, Drew Mcintyre, and Dolph Ziggler have no chance in Hell, period. Jack Swagger, as much as I like him, has no hope either. Shelton is just their because, well you know. This leaves MVP, Kane, and Matt Hardy.
First off, we all know Kane has virtually no hope of winning it at his stage in his career. The only reason I put him here is the prediction someone here at B/R made, which was him winning and cashing in on Undertaker, ending his streak, which is more unlikely, considering Taker has no title. Matt hardy looked like he had some momentum, but it is all gone after Maria's release. Finally, we have MVP, who I haven't even seen in the past weeks, and who got bumped out of NXT, which only makes you think if hes in trouble backstage or not.
So after saying all that, all I need to say is how he's going to win it. Firstly, he could be selected the Raw before WM 26, by winning a squash match. Second, he could win on that Raw by beating someone in a shocker, such as Sheamus, where only Kofi could make it to MITB, where as its just a pre-WM match for Sheamus. Finally, there is the huge possibility that he will be announced as the last participant in MITB before it begins, which would would be the shocker of the year! I could imagine that happening, with the crowd giving a huge pop, and all the participants looking worried.
On my last note, I want to hear your guy's opinions. So please comment below and I will comment on your thoughts as well.
