WWE Vs TNA: It's Finally Here

I know what you're all thinking, 'Tom, it's almost been a week since it happened, keep up'. But as I live in England, I haven't been able to watch last Monday's TNA till today. Anyway, on with the article!

My first thought about Monday's first wrestling battle for a few decades is this, TNA kicked RAW's ass. Hogan and Flair coming out of retirement was quite good, and with Jeff Hardy and RVD turning up it was, as the name would suggest, non-stop action. The only highlight in RAW was Cena's gauntlet match, and even that wasn't that good. Kriss Angel, unlike most other guest hosts, really sounded like he was enjoying himself. Unfortunately, the crappy magic tricks just got on my nerves. Bringing C-list celebs to RAW as guest hosts is getting just the slightest bit stale. The only guest host I actually enjoyed watching, from the episodes I saw, was Ricky Hatton. And even then the best they could think of was a match against Chavo Guerrero. I mean Chavo Guerrero?! But I digress...

TNA, come over here. Lemme give you a little tip, STOP ADVERTISING WWE! Mentioning or making hints about WWE will get you nowhere. Especially when at one point you were bad-mouthing your own idea of going to Monday's! When Eric Bischoff told someone that trying to take on the NFL is a stupid idea I had to stop myself from punching the TV. Also, where the f*** is Samoa Joe?!

TNA, another little tip, make your heels, well...heelier! If you want to take down the WWE you'll have to do better than Mr. Ke..I mean Anderson spitting on Angle's dog tag. I couldn't care less if he did or not, this storyline bores the crap out of me. I even find myself on Kennedy's side when Angle won't stop whining. Your biggest heel at the moment is A.J Styles, someone so devoid of personality that he has to be a clone of Flair.

This one's a message to the fans, stop with the chanting 'USA' or 'What?' whenever someone non-American is on. It's getting old. Especially when you're not even doing it right. The TNA audience was chanting USA when Williams and Kaz were fighting, despite the fact Kaz is of Armenian descendants. Also, how come all English wrestlers sound the same? Come on guys, dig deeper.

What do I think will happen next week? Well as SCSA is guest hosting RAW, I think WWE will, but I'm ready to be proved wrong. I hated TNA the first time I tried to watch it, the same way I hated ECW, but it's starting to grow on me and I'm already looking forward to next Saturday so I can watch it. The WWE has become kind of boring. It was obvious Trip and Sheamus were going to have a match at Wrestlemania, and that McIntyre would somehow squirm his way into the MITB Ladder Match. I'm making a prediction right now that Carlito will get in Christians way at MITB, and if it doesn't come true I will be deeply shocked. RAW needs better guest host's, and TNA needs to stop talking about RAW.

One last thing, did anyone else notice that TNA has started advertising the moment it got to Monday nights?
