49er Free Agency Period

WHAT IS THE FRONT OFFICE DOING?

Lets face it. The 49ers are almost a team that would be in the playoffs every year. They are missing only a few pieces away from being a top NFL team. The 49ers could do a couple moves in this free agency period to make them great. One thing is pay the money for Jared Gaither. This guy is a good OT and I don't care if it takes a first round pick. What would you rather have? Someone that hasn't proven they'll be great in the NFL or someone thats young and has proven they are really good. *cough*cough* Jared Gaither over drafting an OT *cough*cough*. I'm not completely upset with this not happening though because Offensive Lineman don't usually bust as much as some positions. WHAT I REALLY WANT is the Niners to give up their 17th pick for Antoine Bethea. Bethea could fill in for Michael Lewis since hes one hard hit away from his career being over. Move Goldson to Strong Safety. I'd love to have that because I think Bethea is the best coverage Safety in the NFL. I wouldn't mind not doing that if the Niners got Gaither. The Front Office needs to wake the hell up and start making their team better. No offense to Carr but thats the biggest thing a team that didn't make the playoffs has done in Free Agency? C'mon, hes going to be a back-up. I love the Niners and as I'm typing this I am wearing my Michael Crabtree Jersey(I ordered it as soon as he figured his number out and got terrified when i heard he might not sign.) I just want to see my team win. I know we lost like 6 of our 8 losses by 7 or less or whatever but that just goes to show that San Francisco is a couple pieces away from being good. I don't really see Left End as a need because Ahmad Brooks is good enough to start their in my opinion. No offense to Alex Smith but hes never gonna lead a team to greatness. He needs to get upgraded. 2010 offseason needs in importance of greatest to least: DB, OT, KR/PR, QB, LE. Sorry if I've hurt any feelings but I just want my team to win:)

PS: The reason the picture is of Deion is because he is a player that really helped the Niners and OH! look at that. HE WAS PICKED UP IN FREE AGENCY
