The Riddler Report: Did The Internet Ruin Wrestling ? (Opinion)

Welcome everyone to another edition of The Riddler Report starting your favorite Gotham Villain me The Riddler.

Today segment gonna be The Riddler Talks where I speak out about different topics and give my opinion on them.

The Internet

You must be asking your self why The Internet Riddler? And Why do u think it ruin wrestling?

Well before I can answer does questions I have to give a little story about myself.

When I was 6 year old I started watching wrestling with my dad every since then I love wrestling even when sometimes I grow apart from it I always came back. From the time I started until I was I don't know..... maybe 13-14 year old I always thought wrestling was real. Course I was not a idiot I know undertaker is not a zombie and that Kane is not really a monster but I truly believe the action was real and so was most of the drama. But a part of growing up is learning the true about a lot of thing. And I kinda found out how things work in the wrestling. It was not until I got Internet that I really got to know wrestling from a backstage view. Has a adult I really enjoy knowing how thing really work and been able to come here and talk to other wrestling fans on how they think thing gonna work out, there like, dislikes and on the industry in general.

But recently I been feeling empty... not in a emo way but I been feeling empty when I watch wrestling and talk about wrestling. I feel like the magic I once feel for wrestling is gone. The last couple of days it been running around my head trying to find out why it lose it magic to me until it hit me like ton of bricks.... The Internet.

Now to answer the questions Why the Internet? and Why did it ruin wrestling?

Well in my humble opinion one word can sum it all up

Spoilers

you may wonder why spoilers?

Well when you know what gonna happen every week and know what coming (example what if everyone know when and on who a person was gonna use the money in the bank) it would make the victory boring cause we know it was coming for weeks. For me one of the best thing about wrestling when I was a kid was the element of surprise you never know what was gonna happen and every week I tune in to see what crazy sh!it was gonna go down. Now a days be it rumors, The dirty sheets or just normal wrestling sites you wanna find out anything you wanna know.

This is why me personally I stop reading spoilers and wanna try to get surprise again by wrestling

I know some people could be thinking and say well reading spoilers is a choice. and yes you would be right it is a choice BUT think about it there always that temptation of wanting to know should I watch it this week or should I skip it. Back in the day people would watch wrestling because they wanted to find out was it good this week or not. Now a days people can check what gonna happen a week before and that can and in my opinion is hurting wrestling. Best example is TNA now that they move to Monday nights they need all the help they can get. But one big mistake is there taping there Monday night shows and probably tomorrow the spoiler for next week should come out. Why is this bad? think about it for a second what if I read the spoilers and I don't like the show I don't watch. Imagine if 1,000 people read the spoiler and don't watch it. There just keep losing viewers until the show get cancel and it gonna be one of does what if? situations

The WWE does not have this problem so bad has TNA only SmackDown get totality spoil. 

I know this is something that cant be fix but it something I wanted to share with my IWC brothers. Hopefully I am wrong and it wont affect TNA in a bad way and wrestling in general.

But I believe that if spoilers get any worse in a few years the younger generation might lose there love and interest for wrestling. And wrestling gonna be has relevant has hockey.
