Week 3 NXT Rookie Rankings
These are the updated rankings for week 3 of WWE NXT's rookies, so here you go.
1. Justin Gabriel- This guy gave me reason to beleive that someone could actually go further than danielson in the WWE after what he has showed this week. His wrestling skills are not to far behind that of Danielson's, judging by his match of the night performance, his mic skills were no less than superb this week during his promo, and he has that certain look that makes you support him. By the way, his 450 splash finisher is pretty bad-ass too, which is even more reason to pursue him!
2. Daniel Bryan- Daniel is staying in his two spot this week, but I actually saw some one noticeable improvement this week. I don't know what he did, but Bryan actually looks more fearsome and wrestler material than last week, and his tension-filled segment with the Miz showed that he has the potential to improve greatly over the NXT period. Wrestling skills looked as good as ever, even with working with the sloppy Otunga. One reccomendation for the WWE is for him to use multiple submissions to add to his submission machine gimmick, rather than the single one he is currently using.
3. Wade Barrett- The more I see this guy, the more I sense a new-generation Regal. His mic skills are unique with the accent, but as I said before, i actually want to keep on hearing him talk! His wrestling skills are not that great, but are surely good enough to become a legit mic-carder in the WWE. He had a great match with Gabriel this week, showing he has some potential in the ring too.
4- David Otunga- He has slipped quite a bit on the rankings, after I watched his past weeks matches and his sloppy and uncharismatic performance against Danielson this week. He still has the look and mic skills, but his lack of in-ring skill or in-ring charisma is going to hurt his chances in the long run. This week, he actually made his moves very realistic and in sync, but his selling was awful and the worst i've seen in a while. My grandma is crippled and she could outsell that man. He looks like he lost all his early momentum and will lose his chances of going big in the futute.
5. Heath Slater- His in-ring skills with carlito were good this week, maybe even better, but that is all he has going for him. His mic-skills were uncharismatic and very boring, and i still believe he looks to friendly and unharmful to be a future champion. And on top of that, his celebration dance looks so out of place and awkward.
6- Darren Young- Did nothing but a promo this week, but all it did was show that his mic-skills aren't going to carry his very sloppy and slow wrestling in the future, or his stupid look. His only slight hope is him shaving his head and joining the SES, which I think will most likely happen.
7-Michael Tarver- All he did this week was spectate his pro's match, which shows the WWE has lost most of its hope with this man. And by the way, how is his slogan correct, when he has lost all of his matches, which lasted alot longer than 1.9 seconds!
8- Skip Sheffield- What did he even do this week? Oh yeah, watch his "pro" job on RAW!
