Exclusive interview with UFC contender, Paul Daley
This exceptional British striker is a new UFC up and coming star. With two quick wins against two legitimate fighters, he is a true contender for the welter weight title fight. Here is a nice and short interview with Paul:
1-Paul! You have a big battle coming up against Josh Koscheck. What is your strategy and how will you handle that fight?
SAME AS USUAL I AM GOING IN THERE TO KNOCK HIM OUT.
2-What is the key to success and popularity of MMA in UK?
I FEEL I HAVE AN EXCITING FIGHTING STYLE, I FINSIH FIGHTS, AND I HAVE CHARACTER........WOULDN’T YOU AGREE?
3-Do you hang out or train with any other UK UFC fighters?
YES, WE HAVE MANY UFC FIGHTERS ON OUR TEAM; DAN HARDY, ANDRE WINNER, NICK OSIPCZACK & ROSS PEARSON.
4-Is the character we see on TV pretty the same as real Paul Daley? Or is it the image you want to show to people?
I GUESS YOU'D HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL WE MEET TO FIND OUT.
5- You have won your UFC fights pretty easily so far. How do you like your experience in UFC and what do you see in future for yourself?
IT'S GREAT, I GOT LOTS OF PLANS FOR THE FUTURE IN, AND AWAY, FROM MMA, BUT RIGHT NOW MY GOAL IS TO KEEP WINNING, AND IN DOING THAT BECOME UFC WELTERWEIGHT CHAMPION.
6- You have always been criticized for your ground game. What is your response to that?
I HAVE NO RESPONSE TO THAT. WHAT CAN I SAY, PEOPLE HAVE THERE OPINIONS.
7- You would have your biggest fight of your career sooner or later for a title fight. How do you plan to fight against a well rounded fighter like GSP?
I respect him as a champion and athlete. If we were to fight the game plan would be keep it standing and knock him out, which is the same tactic for every opponent, no secret there.
8-Any message for our readers and Canadians?
Not really, I just hope they enjoy watching me fight. I like the Canadian fans from my time at MFC where they showed me great support so it will be nice to return and perform for them.
