Hornaday Wins Pole For Atlanta Truck Race
Ron Hornaday took the pole Saturday morning in qualifying for the EZ Go 200 in his 33 Longhorn Chevrolet for KHI with a lap of 31.19 he bumped Matt Crafton from the pole. Tayler Malsam was the first truck to go out but Crafton had the pole till Hornaday put down a fast lap and took that way. Kyle Busch went out near the end of qualifying and took the second spot away from Matt Crafton so its Ron Hornaday and Kyle Busch on the front row from Atlanta Motor Speedway. Kyle Busch is going for his fifth win at Atlanta in the trucks and he has won the last three out of four races at the track. Great qualifying run for Geoff Bodine who will start eighth in the Bo Dyn Bodsled Project #95 the Bodsled Olympic winners will be in Atlanta for the race today. Steve Wallace also makes his truck series debut and will start sixth. Kevin Harvick has run very consistant in Sprint Cup with two runner up finishes, he won the Nationwide race at Las Vegas last weekend and he will start fourth in the truck race today.
