Arsenal vs. Burnley

The Gunners come back into the league after the midweek international friendlies without any injuries, which is quite a surprise considering how often Arsenal players get injured on international duty. After the freak injury to Aaron Ramsey, the young team seems more united than ever to win the trophy this year. An easy schedule ahead of them keeps them in good standing right now, just three points behind Chelsea. While they will continue to miss the services of William Gallas, Andrey Arshavin, and Abou Diaby, Sol Campell have filled in nicely for the Frenchman and Nicklas Bendtner has shown improvement recently. Expect an easy win for the Emirates side against nearly relegation confirmed Burnley.

The Wolves welcome the Red Devils to the Molineux and will hope to pickup something more than zero points as they barely stay above the relegation zone. The Manchester side will miss the in-form, but suspended, Luis Nani in their away game. However, a win for the Old Trafford side will mean that they go top of the table and this alone should be enough motivation for Sir Alex Ferguson’s team to turn it on match day. With Wayne Rooney in the best form of his career so far, we really don’t see the Wolves having any chance against the English superstar.

Wigan should consider themselves lucky to be above the relegation zone, despite continuously playing poor. Playing at the DW Stadium doesn’t change things much at this stage when you are playing a rising Liverpool side. With a trio of wins in the lat six games, the Reds are turning it up in their pursuit of the last Champions League spot, so expect yet another busy day for Chris Kirkland. A potential return of Yossi Benayoun should certainly improve Rafa Benitez’s men’s chances of earning maximum points.
