What is TNA Doing with Their Superstars and Storylines?
Ever since Hogan and Bischoff came to TNA, it seems like things have been going downhill.
They are not showcasing some of the talent that TNA has to offer, and changing the ring from six sides to four sides was a bad idea, and it is taking some getting used to by some of the wrestlers.
Incase you didn’t notice, two weeks ago on impact when Beer Money was making their entrance into the ring, Robert Roode went to do his little turn around thing that he usually does when he gets in the ring and sort of bonked his head on one of the top ropes, which if it were the six sided ring, would not of happened.
Now on to what they are doing with the talent and storylines. My first complaint is what they are doing with Jeff Jarrett, now I'm not sure who, if it's Hogan or Bischoff that is controlling this, (on screen its Bischoff).
But having Jarrett flipping burgers and cleaning toilets to me is spitting in the face of all the accomplishments this man has made.
Just to name a few, not only is he the founder of TNA itself, when heel one of the greatest in the business, one of only three other men in the WWE to hold the European and Intercontinental titles at the same time, the others include Kurt Angle, RVD, and D-lo Brown.
I could go on and on about the accomplishments this man made, and they have him doing cook and janitorial work, along with not letting him come out with his theme music or his trademark guitar.
To top it all off they put him in a match with Sean Morley. Who thank God is no longer part of TNA.
Could all this be revenge from when Hogan was in the Tokyo Dome? Jarrett came in and waffled him over the head with the trademark guitar, and then just proceeded to pummel him with a steel chair, followed by multiple punches to the head.
Then you have Hulk Hogan giving Abyss his hall of fame ring. Nothing against Abyss but i agree with Flair. Saying that is an insult to that ring.
All the blood sweat and tears that Hogan gave to get that ring, and to just give it away to a wrestler like Abyss, shows Hogan could give two flips about the Hall of Fame ring.
I've seen comments on some of the other articles I’ve written saying that Ric Flair coming out of retirement to fight Hogan is a diss to Shawn Michaels, well I 110 percent AGREE! With Flair wrestling, that match might as well never have happened. That's a slap in the face of Shawn Michaels and all he has accomplished.
Hiring Sean Waltman and Scott Hall, VERY BIG MISTAKE! ten years ago, much like Sean Morley they were both great wrestlers. I absolutely loved Scott Hall in the NWO and even as far back as Razor Ramon.
Waltman, I liked as X-Pac, Syxx, and also the 123 Kid. Now however, both are just awful, Scott Hall needs to go on Nutrisystem and stop the drinking, and Waltman needs to stop the pill popping and drinking. These two guys are on a slippery slope and it is just going to bring TNA down.
Wasting their money and time on these two guys when they have awesome talent like Daniels and Homicide. They got rid of Petey Williams way back, and I feel that was a huge mistake. This guy was absolutely awesome, pulling off moves that I'd never seen before.
He had the body of a Greek god and that front flip piledriver I’ve never seen from any other wrestler and probably never will. TNA was stupid to get rid of him, and WWE is stupid for not picking him up.
Speaking of Petey Williams, incase you didn’t know Scott Steiner is no longer part of TNA, now this might be old news but I just found out today. I don't know if they let him go or if he left on his own free will.
But if they did let him go that was another dumb move. He could of stayed and feuded with Hulk Hogan, or they could of had him turn face and feud with "The Band."
Maybe Steiner saw that TNA was going down hill and wanted to get out before it crashed.
Also having Mick Foley change his look, take etiquette lessons, give me a fricken break. This man was thrown off a 16 foot cell through a table, got up and came back and got chokeslamed on a chair through the cell, and in a later match back dropped through the cell breaking the ring.
This man has a right to dress and talk however the hell he wants!
Don't let this article fool you though TNA isn't doing all bad its sort of a hit and miss. But one thing they should of never done is try and feud with the WWE, it's a war that can't be won.
