Bowles spoke to Stephan Bonnar whom is filling in for Frank Mir on commentary duties for the event. After stepping off the scale Bowles said, “I have to stay patient and get my hands on him” regarding his first title defense tomorrow at Nationwide Arena.

The Alliance trained fighter also spoke with Bonnar after stepping off the scales and expressed excitement in his attempt to dethrone Bowles saying, “It’s going to be a great fight”
