Fedor, Povetkin, Klitschko and The UFC

Will fedor fight against Overeem in this year?

It is hard to predict but it will be not only a fight for the both fighters it will be a fight for both teams. Thats why Finkelstein had said for a couple of days Fedor would only fight against Overeem when he make a positive drug test in USA.

I think that could be long story and i think the people of fedor wish a fight against Barnett and not against Overeem after the Werdum fight. They dont want to risk their negotiation position with the UFC with a risky fight against Overeem. The strikeforce champion belt don't interest Fedor and his team.

But on the other hand a fight against Overeem would not such a problem for Fedor like his fight against Rogers because Overeem is a fighter who has lost a several times and who will is breakable when he is in a difficult position. His ground game is not such good that he can compete with Fedor and his stand up game is to wild to give fedor really a hard time. fedor would try the same thing like he did with Schilt. He would try to smash him on the ground.

Lesnar is not really a good competitor for fedor to, because his stand up game is not good and i think he is in the same group freak but easy rival like Choi, Zulu, Sylvia and Schilt for fedor.

I think Fedor boxing style is very interesting and his close friend Alexander Povetkin has the same left attacking hoke which is very good. In a fight against Klitschko i think fedor would try to win on his stand up game like he did with Arlovski. So it would great to see him knocking out Vitali Klitschko in stand up fight. That is not utopia because fedor box style is one for real and short street fight and the Klitschkos never fought against a opponent with this style.

David Haye will end his boxing career with age of 31 and maybe switsch to MMA. that will be interesting but he hadn't any chance against a good mma fighter.

The last thing is please give your attention to Alexander povetkin in boxing, he is the only man who is really better than the klitschkos and Wladimir don't fight against him since Jan. 2008.
