Shawn Michaels vs. The Undertaker: What More To Ask For?

I want you to think back to when you were a kid watching wrestling. In fact, think back all the way to the history of wrestling. Name a match in which the most was riding on the line. Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker at Wrestlemania 26 is literally gonna be the most prestigious match of all time.

The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels have been through so much as wrestlers in the WWF and WWE. This match is literally the compilation the past 20 years of wrestling and ending a popular and loving culture of the Attitude Era as we know it. The Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, and Triple H are all we have left of the big named Attitude Era stars, and at Wrestlemania 26 one of these stars is gonna close the book on it for good.

When you look at it on tape, these two wrestlers have had to prove themselves time and time again. From the Boyhood Dream to the Deadman. 17-0 at Wrestlemania to Mr. Wrestlemania. My question to you the wrestling fan is: how in the world do you determine who wins such a serious match? Yes, I do know wrestling is fake, but this is serious. The name of glorious WWE wrestling is on the line in this match. This is what I mean.

HYPOTHETICALLY: The Undertaker wins at Wrestlemania 26. It will be the end of Shawn Michaels' career in the WWE. The Heartbreak Kid will be no more. DX will be no more. Mr. Wrestlemania will be no more. Just the name of Shawn Michaels, and his theme song will not ring in a WWE arena or a WWE Pay Per View ever again. However, if the WWE goes down the wrong road and HBK comes back, then it proves the inconsistency in WWE storylines and ruins the legitacy of the WWE. You can't say something like putting a career on the line and just lie about it all the time, especially in a match like this.

HYPOTHETICALLY: Shawn Michaels wins at Wrestlemania 26. The Undertaker's beloved Wrestlemania streak will be over. What would the Undertaker have left to accomplish in a WWE ring. The answer is nothing at all. He would have nothing for him. The occasional pay per view appearance. But then you lose revenue at the next pay per view because The Undertaker can never be in a legit Wrestlemania match ever again, because he is defeated and it no longer matters.

In other words, this match literally has a lot riding on the line at Wrestlemania 26, and I for one think that if anybody saw last year's match at Wrestlemania, then they know what we have in store this year at Wrestlemania. We are in for a 30+ minute slobberknocker that is bound to steal the show once again, and I for one will be glad to see two great competitors in the WWE take some of their final blows with the company in what should be one of the if not the greatest matches in Pro Wrestling history at Wrestlemania 26.
