Michigan Football: Can We Hang On To The Ball This Year?
Practice gate, Water gate, Monica gate, who cares? With all the extra practice time we got last year, above and beyond what we were suppose to get, why couldn't we hang on to the football?
I have never seen so many fumbles in a college season in my life. Anyone can tell you that when this type of thing is going on it goes back to coaching. I deplore our coach Rich Rod and his staff. The kind of coach he and his staff are is reflected in our players.
In my football career, as well as my professional career, there were people inspired me to do the extra ordinary and there were those people who didn't inspire me to do anything but try and survive under their guidance. Some may say well Chuck, you are lazy or just don't want to work hard. That is not the case at all.
There are coaches that inspire you to do above what you are capable of doing, just as there are managers that inspire you to do the extra ordinary. It is not until we are inspired by our leaders that we can do anything other than just survive. I don't want to see Michigan just survive, I want to see them flourish! I want to see our men and women do the extraordinary! We can, we will, and we must! This is Michigan, not some podunk college from the nowhere!
Our history says we can do the extraordinary! Look at all we have accomplished in every endeavor and look where we are now. I leave you with this: "Where there is no vision, the people parish!" What is Rich Rod's vision? Is he even capable of communicating it? Is his vision for Rich Rod to be great or is his vision for Michigan to be great? Bo, Gary, and Carr's vision was for Michigan to be great. Where is Rich Rod's vision? You be the judge.
