Why Shawn Michaels Cant End The Undertakers Streak at Wrestlemania XXVI

Before I get started I would first off like to say this is my first article so please comment and let me know what everybody thinks good or bad...thank you!

Now if you have been following wrestling for a long time like me you would know that this is a feud that started all the way back at Summerslam 1997 when Michaels was a guest ref for the Bret Hart Undertaker match for the then WWF heavyweight championship and after Bret spitting in Shawn’s face Michaels then accidentally hit taker in the head with a steel chair aiming for Bret which then led to the first ever hell in the cell match at Bad Blood 97.

The match saw both superstars at their full potential going above and beyond all expectations but the Undertaker started dominating and was ready to finish off HBK and win the match when the lights go out music hits and we see the debut of Kane who rips the cell door off the hinges and stares down his brother the Undertaker before giving him a tombstone and Michaels crawling over the Undertaker to get the victory.

Then they meet again at the 1998 Royal Rumble in a casket match for Michaels WWF heavyweight championship, once again a classic match going back and forth and after a chokeslam and tombstone into the casket Undertaker was ready to close the lid and win when the New Age Outlaws and Los Boricuas came out and just pummeled the Undertaker when the lights go out Kanes music hits and comes out and just takes care of business taking out anything that moves, while HHH and Chyna help Michaels out of the casket when once again Kane turns on the Undertaker chokeslams him in the casket and DX closes the lid.

Now even though Michaels won this match Undertaker sent Michaels on a 4 year, at the time thought permanent vacation because when Undertaker back dropped Michaels out of the ring Michaels hit his lower back on the corner of the casket causing him to herniate 2 disks in his back crushing 1 completely.

Now fast forward to Wrestlemania 25 (which won the Slammy for best match of 2009) and The Undertaker wins, also notice no interference from Kane. Its an open and shut case if Kane wouldn’t of interfered in the first 2 matches between the two superstars Undertaker would be 3-0. Now take into consideration all the other superstars who have fallen to the Undertaker at Wrestlemania.

These people aren’t just your average wrestlers were not talking someone like your Sheamuses or your Drew McIntyres these are well known hall of fame and future hall of fame wrestlers HHH, Ric Flair, Jimmy Snuka, Jake "The Snake" Roberts, Edge and Randy Orton just to name a few.

Shawn Michaels may be Mr. Wrestlemania but the Undertaker is Wrestlemania all this spells disaster for the Heart Break Kid you had a good run Shawn but it just aint going to happen!...agree or disagree? let me know.
