The Verdict: A Letter To Tiger Woods What Were You Thinking?

Tommy RossFeb 27, 2010

Dear Tiger,

I hope this letter finds you in the best of health, I hope it aids you in the renewal of the mind and I hope it helps you to find your way back to the path of progression. Simultaneously reminding you of who you are. Why you are in the postion you are in, and where you come from.

First thing I want to know Tiger is did you think you were an exception? I hope not! Did you think for a moment because you denied your African heritage the Media would forget? Did you not know the Media was just waiting for this precise moment to say look I told you Tiger was a N*&^%# just like the rest of them.

Tiger you should of done your research before you made that grave choice at the crossroads of Faithful Companion Ave and Infidel Lane. Look at all the black athletes before you Tiger.

They were the best thing since slice bread while they were on top of their game, aslong as they acted like a good ole boy, smiled when they were told to smile, and danced on cue they were safe from being lynched by the Media.

However when the day came that those athletes like all humans made that fatal mistake, or did something that wasn't wrong by definition but looked down upon by society as a whole they were lynched.

The only way to remind a Super Star athlete that he is still a black athlete is to have the media slay him before the world.

Here's a list for you to study Tiger so you can understand your position, and what actions you must take to return to form.

First on the list is a guy named Muhammad Ali. Mr. Ali was ok with the U.S Government and the american public as a whole. However when he began to exercise his freedom of speech, and his freedom to pursue the religion of his choice he was untimely drafted into the U.S Army at the peak of his career.

I know what you thinking and it was not coincidence, Muhammad Ali failed his ASVAB test and was still drafted because they knew he would refuse enlistment due to his religion. At that precise moment they would have justification for doing what they wanted to do all along once he became a Muslim, which was to strip him off his title.

Ali went on to win a decision against the United States of America 3 years later. Unfortunately he wouldn't win over the American public until he won his title back.

Next on the list is Mr. Barry Bonds this brother was slandered so much in the media, that the accusation of him being on steroids turned into a certainty. Despite him being on steroids never fully proven in a court of law.

It is belived to be fact to this day. I mean the chances of him being juiced up are great, apparently with most of the abusers coming from his era. However America is supposed to be the land where you are innocent until proven guilty. If so why is Barry painted to be so guilty when technically he is not.YET!

Next on the list is The Black Mamba himself. ( By the way you should of took notes from Kobe when it came to your apology, word on the streets is you couldn't possibly being sorry enough, apparently you didn't cry the alloted amount of time.)

Back to Kobe he was a skinny kid from Philadelphia suburbs turned superstar NBA champion over night. On top of the world no baby mama drama. no former rap sheet his nose was as clean as junkies after a extended bid inthe county jail.

Until he ill advisely decided to take a detour down Infidel Lane. I don't know what he was thinking either not that it makes his situation worse then yours but his wife is HOT. Very dumb move Mr. 81!

Did he ever pay for it in addition to being caught cheating he was also being fingered for rape. When the smoke cleared it turned out that the alleged rape victim was flat out lying and she actually was proud of her conquest bragging on the size of the Mamba no pun intended.

To this day there remains a percentage of the U.S that still thinks Kobe is a rapist, even though it hasn't been proven in a court of law. I know Kobe wishes they were as forgiving to him as they were to Ben Rothlisberger his situation barely made the news and is a vapor of unimportance compared to the aftermaths of Bryants. Tough luck Kobe you tan far too well.

The point I'm driving home here Tiger is that it doesn't matter what you do, you will never be one of them! So you cannot continue down your course of action screwing whom ever you deem fit, because your actions will not be ignored they will be magnified.

Your short comings will not be brushed under the rug, instead you will be forced to scrub the stains of your unfaithfulness from the linoleum floors of the Press. At the feet of Americas biased society you will wait afterwards while the Media gives you the white glove treatment.

Tiger you made the biggest blunder of your existence, cheating on your wife. Fortunately in the U.S all you really have to do to clear this whole misunderstanding up is to continue dominating your peers.

P.S. if you had a time machine and could go back in time you probally should of chosen basketball as your sport of choice, Maybe your infidelity wouldn't have been that big of a  deal like MJ's. Never mind Michaels wife was far from having blond hair and blue eyes.
