NFL Combine: Who's Number One?

Matt BiscaldiFeb 26, 2010

With the NFL Combine just about upon us and the draft just about a month and a half away, its just about that time for top prospects.

1. Sam Bradford. He is a top notch quarterback with good knowledge of the game. He would've been the number one draft pick last year if he had come out of school. Now he'll just be waiting for the first team who needs a quarterback to pounce on him.

2. Ndamukong Suh. This kid can flat out play defense. He's quickness and strength will easily make him a top five pick, possibly number one.

3. Jimmy Clausen. The last time a quarterback came out of Charlie Weis' program, he slipped drastically out of the top 20 when he was projected to go top 10. That players name? Brady Quinn. Quinn was supposed to be the most NFL ready quarterback in that class but now he's competing for a starting job. Clausen will go high, but he may not be as affective as many of us project.

4. Colt McCoy. Don't get me wrong, I don't think Colt will go too high. But McCoy is such a top notch player. He got hurt in the national championship, and I feel that's the only reason he's not number one on this list. With a healthy McCoy, Texas probably wins it all, McCoy proves himself as the best player in the land, and is drafted top 10. McCoy can move enough, and has a good arm. If put with the right players, he could be a top tier NFL quarterback.

5. Tim Tebow. This kid is way too good to not be on the list. He's been working hard to make adjustments in his delivery and his footwork, and I honestly think he'll be a quarterback in the distant future and he'll be a threat. Tebow was so clutch with the Gators, and he's so quick and smart. He will have little problems out thinking NFL defenses.
