Can Kieran Gibbs Solve England's Problems? Can Sol Save Arsenal?

Just going to fire through it today. Arsene Wenger was asked if Kieran Gibbs could solve England´s left back problems yesterday.

First and foremost, what problem? They have three really good left backs, one who happens to be injured but will probably be fit in time for the WC, and James Milner who can play there.

They certainly don´t need Gibbs, and I doubt he will be fit anyway. Regardless, it would be nice to have two of Arsenal´s players in the England squad.

I think that is precisely double the amount of English players Liverpool have in the England team, despite their "strong English backbone" (Although real football fans haven´t been saying this for a long time).

Wenger said he wouldn´t expect Kieran Gibbs to be fit in time. Shame.

Apparently Billy has re-done his calf in training so he´s out for the Stoke game. It´s not the best news, but Stoke are an aerial team, not a pacey one. I almost think playing Sol is better than playing Willy.

I mean we saw what happened on those long throws to Toure and Gallas last year. They got pummelled. I can see Sol mopping those long throws up.

This geriatric football tell us that Arsenal will fight to the bitter end and blah blah fucking blah. I hate reporting this kind of news. It´s such rot. Here´s a to a solid 8 - 0 victory over Stoke away from home.

UPDATE: We´ve also apparently earned a poo load of money this year. Which is a testament to not signing superfluous players in the off-season. I wouldn´t complain if it was a goalie, but I think we are alright otherwise, provided financial security is something important for our club that is.
