Raiders Should Target Free Agent WR Antonio Bryant
Antonio Bryant is one of the newest free agents to hit the market and I think he could help our offense a whole lot. He is a proven WR with seasons of 1200+ and 1000+ yards under his belt. One thing that was clearly missing last season was a solid, reliable target at WR. Bringing in Bryant would solidify our relatively young, inexperienced group of WRs. He'd give us an established #1, go-to WR which we desperately needed last season considering we were rolling with two rookies for the most part of the year.
Chaz Schilens was emerging as our go-to WR but injuries, once again, kept him in street clothes for most of the season. A problem he's had since his college days. Chaz has everything you need in a WR but like I said, I don't know if we can depend on him to stay healthy. DHB, obviously, has a long way to go before he'll be our #1. I do think he'll develop into a productive WR but I don't think this will be the year. Louis Murphy is currently our best WR on the roster. Although he had a fairly solid rookie year, we can't go into next season with Schilens(injury prone) and 2nd year guys DHB and Murphy as our top three WRs.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Antonio Bryant would give us a proven deep threat. He has 60 catches of 20+ yards and 11 of 40+ yards in his last 59 games. Bryants career ypc is over 15 yards. We haven't had a true #1 WR since the days of Brown and Rice. Our young QB desperately needs a proven WR at his disposal.(an O-line wouldn't hurt either)
What do you think Raider Nation? Should Al go after this guy or should we continue to develop our younger guys and hope they can get it done this year?
