Jason Campbell to Shuffle Up to Buffalo Bills?
I love this time of year when it relates to football.
The Super Bowl is over but still fresh in our minds, and for those of us not celebrating, we are flush with hope for next year.
This is also that time of year when we all look forward to the draft, free agency, and all of those fun little trade rumors.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The latest involving the Washington Redskins (as being reported by The Washington Post 's Redskins Insider Jason Reid) is that quarterback Jason Campbell might be shipped up to Buffalo for safety Donte Whitner and a draft pick.
This could be a good move for the Redskins if they are not committed to Campbell and don't see him having any impact on the field for the team.
The addition of Whitner would definitely help the Skins' secondary (the only black eye in an otherwise stellar defense), but the draft pick could do wonders for them as they try to rebuild their failing franchise.
I would speculate that the draft pick would probably be a third rounder, which the Redskins do not possess.
If this trade were to go down, I almost guarantee that either Sam Bradford or Jimmy Clausen will go at No. 4 to the Redskins.
I also think sending Campbell to the Bills would be good for both Campbell and Buffalo.
Despite being a critic, I still think Campbell has all the tools to be a pretty good quarterback in the NFL, but given that he's been in a terrible system the last two years, many in D.C. have grown tired of him.
I think if he's ever going to succeed, he's going to have to do it elsewhere. I think Buffalo could be that place.
They are in dire need of a franchise quarterback (sorry Trent Edwards and Ryan Fitzpatrick—you just don't cut it in my book), and I think Campbell could be that guy. A new town could spark something in him.
Of course, this is all just a rumor, and we'll have to see what transpires, but at least it gives me something to write about while the NHL is on hiatus and the NFL draft is still over a month away.
