Chelsea Loses To Inter, Man City Loses To Stoke: This Should Make You Smile

John SmithFeb 25, 2010

Schadenfreude: Taking joy at other people´s misery.

Yeah, I´m happy with that.

I´m happy enough that City have been dumped out of the FA Cup.

I´m very happy that theonewhosenameshallnotbespoken has been given a reddie.

I´m very, very happy that Inter Milan are taking a 2-1 lead into Stamford Bridge, although from the highlights it looks like they were lucky not to be absolutely pooed on. I think an in-form Drogba would have made them pay.

I´m slightly happy that Petr Cech looks like he´s done his knee. Hopefully Hilario will suck a$$ and let in at least 32 slippery, slimy, snake sausage shots every match. (I don´t know what those are but imagine having slippier hands than a bobsled track lubricated with Vaseline.) So yeah, Schadenfreude...Let´s all point and laugh at the lads in blue.

HAHAHAHAHAHA.

I wrote an article a couple of days ago which got 100 comments on bleacherreport.com...100 COMMENTS! I got a gold medal for it and everything.

Fair enough, probably 6 percent of the comments were made up of back and forth remarks between me and my "respected" Chelsea-supporting bleacherreport colleague who we shall call...ummmm... Saura.. No make that Saurah. I don´t want him to feel offended.

(On a side note, I think it´s incredible in the 21st century that we, with all our technology, superpowers, and self-proclaimed fantastic intelligence, can still be offended by words? Someone else's writing can actually make you hurt inside. Stupid. You don´t like what someone is saying? Close the book. Flick off the telly. Shut down your computer. Or just look away. I´m appalled that these policitally correct meatheads have actually been able to brain wash the masses, especially the young folk, with all their liberty and pizzazz (not to be read pizzas... I know what I´m having for lunch) have been taught to think that someone else can make you feel bad...with their words. Not a punch in the face. Not a kick in the scrot. Actually anger you, the sweating, the pulsating heart, the tears, the loss of control. With fucking words. You have a choice to feel hurt or not, you want to be angry and irrational, or happy and smug? I know what I choose.)

Anyway, I wrote this article about how I didn´t like Chelsea, or their fans. Tongue-in-cheek of course. I obviously have some friends who were Chelsea fans. They aren´t with us any more (Don´t check under their floor boards).

But that´s neither here nor there. The fact is at one point in time, or another. I did have someone that I befriended, respected, acknowledged their existence, who was a Chelsea fan. Well, today is a day to point and laugh.

To turn around the proverbial finger and point it in their direction. You lost to Inter yesterday, and it wasn´t cause YOUR inexperienced goalie threw the ball in his own net. It wasn´t cause you were denied a stone wall penalty...Oh wait...Yes, they were.

Hard luck. And I genuinely mean that.

Which brings me to my next point. A point which I generally always bring up (generally always??? Hmmm, back to writing class) TECHNOLOGY SHOULD BE INTRODUCED IN FOOTBALL. FOR THE SAKE OF OUR BROTHERS IN BLUE.

Schadenfreude, you just gotta love that word. UptheArse
