McNabb: To Be Or Not to Be
I'm among those who are ready to pull my hair out over McNabb's mechanics and general understanding of the game. He never gets rid of the ball when under pressure, if none of his receivers are open. He takes the sack every time, and people have the nerve to call out the O-Line. No O-Line in history can protect a QB all day, at some point he needs to drill the ball out of bounds and save the yards.
McNabb has never mastered his fundamentals. He has happy feet, accuracy issues, inability to read coverage, and lousy audibles. In the past he was able to cover for this through his amazing athleticism, he is barely mobile anymore after many injuries.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
When he is having one of his famous no show, choke games does he work with his coaches on defensive series, studying photos, or rallying the bench? Nope, stands off by himself with a towel over his head and acts like a sour puss. No leadership!
However he manages the game effectively more often than not, puts up good stats, and doesn't throw a lot of picks.
Is Kolb or Vick a better option at this point? There is no rush here, all three QB are under contract for 2010. If McNabb puts up stats again next year like he did this year, his trade value does not go down, if you want to trade him now he would still need a contract extension first to make another team bite, so now or next year makes no difference.
Keep Vick and see what teams need QB help closer to the start of the season. Offer Kolb a contract extension mid-season.
Use the draft to plug the defensive holes (safety, linebacker). Bring in a free agent veteran blue chip pass rusher on defense (Peppers) and a serviceable center on offense, by next year Jackson is 100% and the O-Line is loaded.
The Eagles are only a couple of moves from being back on top. I'd be willing to give it one more season with #5.
