Boston Celtics Who Likes The Look Of Ilgauskas and Hughes In Green

Tai GiwaFeb 24, 2010

As i am writing this the celtics are 36-19 and are about to play the cleveland cavaliers they have aquired nate and he went for 4 points on his first outing which will have to improve  if he is going to get serious minutes with the celtics this season  i like his abilty to score he  has more versatility to his scoring than eddie house  as good of a dunker he is he has only dunked the ball three times during games i do expect him to have a couple of 20 point games in celtic green  but i mostly want double digit games from nate robinson  the only concern i have is that nate is a playoff virgin can he step up during those times is a question that will be asked very soon, two months soon

I think the celtics should push for  Zydrunas ilgauskas  i like him alot he'd potentially be our only 7 footer and i good back-up for  kendrick perkins and a guy to go to when in close games and when teams are looking to put a celtic on the line for free throws with his  abilty to knock down the free throw and the 3 pointer( a trait most european bigs tend to have) that allows us to bench kendrick in those situations and makes us less of a liabilty at the 5 and we can potentially have a massive line-up i also like the idea of adding larry hughes  he is 6'5'' and averaging 7ppg  he can score in buches but i do think that is past him now what we look for in him is to nullify the "crawford effect" in the playoffs by playing him at the point  cutting off that potential miss match between him and rondo at times of 4 inches and even bigger potential miss match with nate robinson if we were to sign both it would take us up to a 15-man roster  but i do feel if we waive scalabrine we can sign both players for  3 million. it could be a disaster but i like those two additions Danny ainge if your reading this  try to make at least one happen
