Alberto Aquilani Needs to Do More for Liverpool
Kop legend Ian Rush reckons that Alberto Aquilani has not done enough since his move to Liverpool.
Aquilani was signed from AS Roma in the summer but arrived at Anfield with an injury that took months to clear.
Despite having fully recovered from the injury, Rafa Benitez has not given Aquilani as much playing time as most would have thought.

Speaking to The Mirror , Rush said, "Few Liverpool players have been discussed as much this season as Alberto Aquilani.
"As the man signed to replace Xabi Alonso, it was inevitable that he would find himself under the spotlight and there have been some encouraging glimpses from him.
"Has he really done enough though? The simple answer, sadly, has to be no.
"One bold display against Tottenham apart, he has found things very difficult and he is in desperate need of a big effort very soon to ease some of the mounting pressure."
Rush went on to elaborate on the Italian midfielder's shortcomings, saying, "Aquilani can clearly pass the ball well, but, at the minute, he seems very much of the safety-first mindset, heading backwards and sideways rather than forwards,"
Liverpool were once again held to a goalless draw against Manchester City at the weekend as they continue to tussle with Tottenham, Aston Villa, and City for the fourth and final Champions League spot.
