Chan Ho to Wear Pinstripes

This just in from an online Korean source (which is very reliable), the Yankees and Chan Ho Park have agreed on a 1 year, 1.2 million dollar deal, with a 300,000 incentives.

I REALLY disagree with this move.
First the Yankees are on a tight budget and had very little money to work with. Secondly, he is a right handed reliever. Don't we have enough of those? If I read correctly, Marte is our only real lefty option out of the pen.

Also, he is not that good.
He had a good playoff run last year with the Phillies, but I am not sold on him at ALL. There was a game against the Dodgers, he was throwing 95-97. Next two games he was at 90-93. Next game he was at 96 again. Too inconsistent and we don't know what we will get from him. Will we get his good slider or a flat one?

The only thing I'll give him, is that he was transitioning from the rotation to the pen so it might take him a bit to get his velocity under control. But still, I disagree, unless however he puts up 2009 Phil Hughes numbers(Which is HIGHLY doubt)

Thoughts???
