Meet one of the newest members of the "Nasty R Crew", Kenneth (Big Booger) Kirksey. This massive, 6 feet 1 @ 290 LBs, DT from Daytona Florida, possess the prototypical size and power, to be the kind of massive "big booger" Schiano needs in the "Nose-spot" that can asphyxiate the competition's ground game. 

Big Booger was recruited by West Virgina, Miami, Arkansas and Florida State.

This guy pushes the pocket which is something FSU have not seen since Dockett..  According to the video he plays more 0 technique than 1 or 3 so that could benefit FSU in the long run.  Jimbo wants the defense to be multiple formations instead of the 4 - 3 that Mickey used through the years.   While looking at the video, the O-line Centers & Guards seem to be a decent size (226 - 250) pounds.  With that said he seems to have very good leverage because he abuses the O-line.  I love his first step, he does not have wasted movement when he comes off the ball.  He seems to have a few moves such as the swim move and the bull rush which are very effective.  A few scouting reports say that he does not have a good motor but that can be taught to players that are willing to learn & adapt

Now for the bad, this kid is a knuckle head, thug, etc.   Jimbo wants grown-ass men but this guy wants to "keep it real".  He would have more offers but he has a few off the field issues.

Kirksey is 6'1" 290 and well put together (not obese).  The 'Noles most desperate need is defensive line and while Kirksey isn't a stud at this point, he is another badly needed body.]

The 6-1, 273-pound Kirksey attracted interest from Florida State before the Seminoles backed off because of eligibility concerns.

Kirksey is an active kid in the trenches. He has adequate size, but does look on film to be a little bigger then what he is listed. He has a good get-off and flashes the ability to get some quick penetration. Displays the ability to consistently come off the ball...

Verdict - Kenneth Kirksey has the athleticism and size to be a very effective NT at this level and the next, however the question is, are we looking at a "self-destructing" Pac Man Jones or a future NFL star ? only Kenneth (Big Booger) can tell us.
