No More Excuses For LeBron and Co.

Sachin AroraFeb 18, 2010

The Cleveland Cavaliers have never won an NBA championship. They've come pretty close, making it to the finals once. But still, the championship count remains at zero. This year, things must change for the sake of the franchise, and for the sake of the fans.

LeBron James is one of, if not the best player in the league. He creates offense, and is a franchise player. He's been carrying the Cavs for many years, and yet they have never won a championship.

People have been making an excuse that LeBron has never had any help. This is mostly true, considering his best teammate has been Mo Williams, who is nothing but an above average point guard with a good shooting stroke.

Now, times have changed. Cleveland sits atop of the league. LeBron finally has a sidekick to help him out. Antawan Jamison is the complete package. He can shoot it, rebound, put it on the floor. He's just what LeBron needed.

My prediction is that if the Cavs do not win the NBA championship this season, or at least make it to the finals, LeBron will leave to free agency. This is why it is so critical that the Cavs play hard, to keep LeBron happy and keep the franchise successful.

Now there's no more excuses for LeBron's Cavs. This is the year they must win. They have the pieces, now there is only one thing left to do: win a ring for the King.
