Why The Seahawks Need To Trade For Kevin Kolb Now.

The Eagles have 3 Quarterbacks on their roster currently who all can be starters on some teams in the NFL right now, teams are calling them about all the 3. Donovan Mcnabb looks like the front-runner to remain in Philly. While it looks like Seahawks NFC West Division Foe St. Louis Rams are trying to get Michael Vick.

Seahawks fans we all know that Matt Hasselbeck is passed his prime right now and the offense line will not be developed fast enough for Hasselbeck to be a dominate starter once again. This is where a trade with the Philadelphia Eagles comes in for Kevin Kolb. The Seahawks could trade Aaron Curry and a draft pick in this upcoming draft in April to land the backup Eagles Quarterback. Now before you Seahawks fans get mad at me for saying lets trade our number 4 pick from a year ago that didn't perform like a #4 pick while other rookie LB's on other teams drafted later then him made the pro bowl and had amazing years. Think of who would be able to step in for Aaron Curry.. David Hawthorne the man who hits hard and wraps up the runner. David Hawthorn has great physical Skill and his defensive IQ is amazing and he is able to read the QB's eyes something Curry has yet to learn.

Why should the Seahawks trade for Kevin Kolb? He has proven that he can fill-in and be a great starter for the Eagles. Kevin Kolb is a great Quarterback and would be a perfect fit into Jeremy Bates Offense. While this Scenario of landing Kevin Kolb would be hard to do, it's better then drafting Injured QB Sam Bradford and Jimmy Clausen in this weak QB draft class. If this does not happen I see the Seahawks using the 2 first picks of the draft on the Defensive side of the ball and work to get O-Line man later on in the draft. Then in the 2011 draft look for the Seahawks to Target Ryan Mallet or Washington State Native Jake Locker. Either way If the Seahawks Get Kevin Kolb or wait another year and draft Mallet or Locker the Seahawks are better off not touching these Quarterbacks in this weak draft class.
