Nonito Donaire Jr. Truly Appreciates His Fans

Oliver SuarezFeb 16, 2010

While most of the recent talks about Donaire are about his victory against Vargas, it must be noted that after the weigh in, Donaire took some time to mingle with his fans.

Instead of taking the rest of the day off, Donaire spent a couple of hours signing autographs and taking pictures with his fans in the Tweet Up party for the Pinoy Power 3/Latin Fury event.

In fact, he was the only one who showed up out of all the special guests who were expected to come. He stayed for the event until everyone who attended had their pictures taken with him or items signed

He even took a few minutes after the event to talk to some of the fans, many whom had come from distant places just to see him fight.

It’s always refreshing to see that an athlete of his stature continue to recognize those who have been instrumental to his success and continue to support him.
