Impressive John Wall Can't Stop Performing

Trey BotkinFeb 16, 2010

When was the last time you've seen a freshman take over NCAA Division I men's basketball like Tyler Hansbrough? You haven't... until now. Take a look at the future face of the NBA to the right. What do you see?

I see determination, like nobody can stop him. His six foot four inch, 195 pound frame can move as quickly as a Lamborghini (or Ferrari); Wall can move as powerfully as the new Ford F-150 I see advertised on national television; and he has the smarts of a valedictorian from high school.

So far this season, John Wall is averaging 17 points flat and six assists per game. I don't believe anybody in the country has come close to those marks.

Take tonight, for example... Kentucky at Mississippi State. Starkville, Mississippi. UK leads at the half 32-29. MSU ties it up by winning the second half 38-35. In overtime, Wall immediately scores a three point play, and adds two more free throws later on. 18 points for the night.

Wall had three steals on top of that, 10 rebounds (you don't see that from a guard in college anymore), and eight assists. Dang near a triple-double. And when was the last time we've seen a triple-double in college basketball, men's or women's?

Okay, I didn't mean that literally. Brittany Griner (Baylor women) had one February sixth against Colorado in a 76-42 W.

John Wall is an explosive "animal", and as we all know as college basketball fans, he is certain number one overall draft pick in this year's NBA Draft. Who in the NBA will get that lucky honor?

Wall is just an amazing athlete. I love it when I turn on SportCenter after they just finished a game on ESPN, and the analysts such as Scott Van Pelt and Stuart Scott talking up a storm about Wall's game. The highlight reel does not lie, and all we can do is stand in awe.

I can't wait to see John Wall dominate the NBA, even more than LeBron James. Wall is a power-tool like I mentioned earlier, and there isn't a mechanic in the world to turn him off.
