Barry Melrose: ESPN Hockey Analyst Curses On Air

Jon StarFeb 16, 2010

ESPN hockey analyst Barry Melrose has long been known for his sense of style. Whether it was his famous mullet during his days as coach of the Los Angeles Kings or his slick, trimmed look behind the desk for ESPN, Melrose has always kept styling.

Well, today on ESPN's First Take, Melrose let the shows hosts Jay Crawford and Dana Jacobson in on a little hint as to what he uses to stay looking so good and vibrant.  The answer: chicken bleep.

During a back and forth with Crawford about looking good in one's mid-life years, Crawford barbed Melrose about what he does to remain looking young.  From off camera, Melrose chimed in with the little known Canadian secret to looking good—"chicken bleep."

The first time he says it, Crawford offers a confused response asking "what was that?" as if to say "did he just say what I think he said?" while the crew has a good laugh behind the camera.
