My Dream Royal Rumble 2010 Match

I watched the Royal Rumble match and I was really excited with the Royal Rumble match cause it is my favorite match of all time, and i know that a lot of fans like it as well. It has suprises, mystery superstars and drama all in one match. But I saw the match and it sucked. The last four man already won the rumble, and there was really no suprise at all. The eliminations was rushed and the winner, Edge, totally deserved the honor, but not this way. His return was shocking but him winning was just disappointing. 

So I slept on it. And the following morning I thought of a better rumble.

The superstars: Well the superstars are great. A lot of young blood, and a lot of veterans in the rumble.

The superstars were (in order): Dolph Ziggler, Evan Bourne, CM Punk, JTG, The Great Khali, Beth Phoenix, Zack Ryder, Triple H, Drew McIntyre, Ted DiBiase, John Morrison, Kane, Cody Rhodes, MVP, Carlito, The Miz, Matt Hardy, Shawn Micheals, John Cena, Shelton Benjamin, Yoshi Tatsu, The Big Show, Mark Henry, Chris Masters, R Truth, Jack Swagger, Kofi Kingston, Chris Jericho, Edge and Batista.

The line up is impressive. I really love the mix of young and old. But the eliminations is fast. Most superstars only last less than 5 mins. The Rumble is the place to make your mark. And it usually is the place to create the rivalries for Wrestlemania. But there were no build up for WM, except for the Rumble winner.

The Match: In my mind, Evan Bourne and MVP would start the match. They brawl and knock each other out for the third entrant to come, Drew McIntyre. He picks up MVP and attempts to throw him over the top rope, but MVP would recover and delivers a DDT. Then Evan would deliver his Shooting Star press and MVP cloth lines McIntyre over the top rope and eliminates McIntyre. Then the fourth entrant, The Great Khali, enters. He squashes the number 1 and 2 entrant then raises his hands to show dominance. The fifth competitor enters, Triple H. They do a stand off and brawls. Triple H does a high knee and does a crotch chop. Evan and MVP then double teams H but both gets a pedigree for their effort. The Great Khali recovers and delivers a Brain chop to H. He tries to eliminate H but gets a pedigree himself. Then the clock expires and Triple H awaits the sixth.

Rey Mysterio's music hits and everyone is shocked. Former no. 1 and 2 last 2006. They stand off and brawls. But their brawl would be interrupted by The Great Khali lifting Rey over his shoulders. Khali runs to throw Mysterio but he would counter and eliminates Khali. Triple H then strikes him but hangs H on the ropes and delivers a 619. Then Evan and MVP would double team Rey while the seventh man enters, Chris Masters. He comes to ring, suplexes everyone in the ring. He applies the masterlock on MVP then threw him to the floor. He beats the others in the ring while the eight enters, it is Jack Swagger. He also suplexes the others in the ring while Master watches. The two would then arrogantly performs variations of suplexes on Rey and Evan Bourne. Then Swagger attempts a gutbuster on Triple H but Master would apply the master lock on Swagger. Swagger struggles and grabs the ropes but Triple H would lift Master of his feet and throws him off the top rope eliminating him and Jack Swagger at the same time.

Then the ninth man enters, CM Punk. Punk would run his mouth while walking through the ring. Triple H waits him but from behind, Luke Gallows would appear and beat Triple H down. CM Punk would help Luke Gallows. Triple H would go out of the ring through the bottom rope. Luke and Punk would then go after Evan Bourne and eliminaties him. Then the tenth man enters. Shawn Micheal's music hits and both he and Triple H would enter the ring at the same time and beats Luke and CM punk. H delivers a pedigree on Punk and Michaels would hit a sweet chin music on Gallows. Then they throw Punk and Gallows at the same time. Then the clock expires and the eleventh man enters, Big Show. He slowly makes his way to the ring and has no problem beating Triple H and Michaels. He chokes slam all the man in the ring and is the only man standing when the 12th man enters, Batista. He runs through the ring, spears Big Show. He then pummels everyone in the ring. He delivers a Batista bomb on MVP, Rey and Triple H. He is about to powerbomb Shawn when Shawn suddenly counters with Sweet CHin Music and Batista would go over the top rope. Batista is irate then comes back to the ring but he would eat a pedigree from H, a chokeslam, a 619 and gets thrown off the top rope again by Shawn. Then the 13th man appears, Yoshi Tatsu. But before he could go to the ring, he would be speared by Batista and Batista bombed on the ramp way. 

Triple H and Shawn Micheals would dominate the ring and double team on Big Show while MVP and Rey are trying to eliminate themselves. Then the 14th man appears, The Miz. He directly goes after MVP. They brawl around the ring, and The Miz delivers a skull crushing finale on MVP. But before he could eliminate MVP, The Big Show would grab him by the neck and choke slam him to the mat. Show would pick the two men up and choke slam them again. Then the 15th man appeared, on the titantron, it was Goldust but Santino would suddenly jumped him from behind and knock him out and stealing his spot at the rumble. Santino's music hit and Santino appeared but from behind Beth Phoenix jumped Santino and slams Marella on the steel ramp way. The Glamazon would steal the spot and enters the ring, slams Rey and eliminates MVP then The Miz who was not able to recover from the chokeslam they recieved. Then Marella would enter the ring and argue, he gets slapped by Phoenix and being distracted, both of them gets a clothesline from the Big Show and both was eliminated from the rumble.

The 16th man then appears, Carlito. He enters and joins the melee. The 17th enters, Mark Henry. Then the 18th, Cody Rhodes. They joins the rumble, attempts to eliminates the not so fresh superstars. Then the 19th man enters, Kane. He enters the ring and goes directly to the Big Show. They brawl and Kane delivers a choke slam. He then delivers a big boot to Carlito and eliminates him. Rey tries to fend off Kane by attacking his legs then runs to a rope only to be grabbed by the neck by Kane and gets choke slammed then thrown over the top rope. Mark Henry then attempts to eliminate Kane and successfully slows down the monster. Then the 20th entrant appears, Ted DiBiase. He and Cody double teams Kane. Ted slaps on the million dollar dream and jumps on Kane's back, while distracted, Cody delivers a drop kick. But just like Masters, Kane goes over the top rope and gets eliminated but also eliminates Ted. Ted was shocked and yells at Cody. Cody apologizes but gets thrown out by Shawn Michaels. The two would argue as they leave the ring. Then the 21st entrant appears, Shelton Benjamin. He goes after Triple H, the longest in the rumble thus far. Both of them goes to the mat outside the ropes. They locked horns but Shawn would suddenly super kick Shelton and eliminate him. But he comes back and delivers another one eliminating H, and everyone is shocked. Then Mark Henry runs towards Shawn, he and Shawn goes over the top rope but Shawn would skin the cat. Henry hits the floor and gets eliminated. Shawn would be the only one in the ring. 

The 22nd man appears, John Morrison. They brawl and tries to eliminate each other almost eliminating the other. But Morrison would get the upper hand and deliver a starship pain on Michaels. Then the clock expires. Suddenly Mr. McMahon's music hits but no one comes out. It dies down then Bret Hart's music hits but again no one comes out. Then Edge's music hits. And he runs down the ring and dominate Morrison. The crowd cheers and everyone is shocked. Then the 23rd appears, Chris Jericho. He stares at Edge outside the ring. He hesitates to enter and waits for the clock expires, but Yoshi Tatsu, who is a participant but was knocked out by Batista throws Jericho in and Edge jumps on Jericho. Yoshi Tatsu joins Edge and beats down Chris Jericho. Then the 24th appears, Matt Hardy. He enters the ring and joind Edge and Tatsu on beating down Jericho. Jericho would recieve a Twist of Fate and a Spear. He would be hoisted by the three man and be thrown off the top rope. But Jericho grabs on the middle rope and comes back and eliminates Yoshi Tatsu. He and Edge would get it on. Edge deliver a spear but hits Matt Hardy accidentally, Jericho would deliver a codebreaker when Edge turns around. Jericho then picks up Matt and eliminate him. 

The 25th man appears, WWE Hall of Famer, Ricky Steamboat. He goes after Jericho and they have a one on one with the legend. Edge would then step in and tries to eliminate Jericho again. Jericho leaves the ring and runs to the fans. Edge would follow him and they would brawl over the guard rail. Then the 26th man appears, John Cena. He stands off with Ricky Steamboat and the two man brawl. Then Shawn would interject himself and super kick both men. He gets the crowd running. He climbs the top turnbuckle and delivers a elbow drop on Cena. He goes to the other turnbuckle again but The Undertaker's gong suddenly sound. He looks at the ramp way. But he took to long and John Morrison would eliminate Shawn from the top turnbuckle. Shawn cannot believe it. He goes back to the ring and super kicks everyone. Then leaves. The 27th man then enters, Dolph Ziggler. He enters the ring and stood in the middle. Since everyone is laid out by Sweet Music, Ziggler would taunt the crowd. He picks up Cena but Cena would deliver an attitude adjustment and eliminate Ziggler. Cena would beat the participants and tries to eliminate Morrison. Then the 28th man enters, Kofi Kingston. He brawls with Cena and The other two men in the ring would join the brawl.

29th would be JTG and 30th would be Shad, both members of Cryme Tyme. They both work on Cena and pummels him down. Then JTG would blindside Shad and eliminate Shad.  Chris Jericho would return to the ring alone. With Edge no where in sight, he eliminates John Cena and JTG. He pummels on Kofi when Edge suddenly return. He spears John Morrison and eliminate him. Jericho pushes Kingston to Edge who would deliver an Edgececution on Kingston and eliminate him. The last two men in the ring would then brawl on each other. But Edge would gain enough momentum and eliminate Jericho and win the rumble. Edge would headline Wrestlemania.

A better Rumble than what I saw. Bit what do you think? Edge still wins but in a much better way.
