The Return Of Monday Night Wars

Greetings’ Guys!! It is now official, TNA is going to Monday nights. Therefore the next generation of  Monday night Wars begins.TNA will officially announce the same on Monday 2:30 Pm(local time)

The return of Monday night wars holds an exciting prospect for wrestling fans.TNA is taking a calculated risk by going against the Big Boys and I feel it is a risk worth taking. But the timing of the move surprises me very much. WWE is heading towards wrestle mania and in all honesty it is only time their shows have looked half decent in a long time with some intriguing rivalries and story lines.

Yes, TNA  is a small time production compared to the WWE but the fact is that their wrestling product is better and it will pay off in the long run. In Eric Bischoff they have a master promoter and strategist. In Kurt Angle they have arguably the best wrestler on the planet who will surely be the face of the company in the coming months. Yes they do have a lot of “has beens” but I feel that is necessary as it creates a certain level of familiarity with the Public. Hulk Hogan has for taken a lot of stick with the public over some of his decisions but I believe that the creative team have a certain plan for TNA and Hogan is playing nothing but a part  .There are rumours about two famous wrestlers joining TNA in the coming months. I won’t comment on that but their arrival will only boost an already talented roster with the likes of Anderson,Styles,Wolfe etc

It is no secret that the WWE has been stale over the past few years and its product has been decreasing steadily in quality. The road to wrestle mania has begun therefore the shows  have been pretty decent in the past two weeks but there is no guarantee that the quality will remain after wrestle mania with some big names expected to retire/take a sabbatical. The quality will likely reduce after Mania.

In conclusion,As i stated before- I believe the return of Monday Night wars holds a great prospect for fans of pro wrestling. Vince McMahon has always been vary of competition and will know very well that he cannot do with another lacklustre year. I believe he will have no option but do go back to the basics of what made his company incredibly successful. As for TNA, they will push the envelope even higher .I feel they have the talent to do it but will they?Only time will tell.

All in all a great year ahead for pro wrestling fans!!!!!!
