My WrestleMania 26 Card

WrestleMania 26 is almost here. The Chamber match, which will set up the bigger matches for WrestleMania, is about a week away. The talks of matches have started quite a while ago, with HHH versus Shawn Michaels and Cena versus Batista talked about months and months ago. This is the time all wrestling fans wait for. And here is a breakdown of what might happen with a few ideas I've had thrown in. Hope you all enjoy.

Money in the Bank

Christian, Kofi, John Morrison, Shelton, MVP, Drew McIntyre, R-Truth, and Sheamus.

I can see most of these guys in this match with Sheamus being a long shot as he just might yet again defy the odds and headline Mania. If so, we'll give Kane the spot. Everyone talks about how it is John Morrison's time to shine and win this match if he doesn't win the Chamber match. I disagree and will tip my hat to Christian. I will explain this later on, but I see the Captain winning the match and cashing in his brief case that night.

Beth Phoenix versus Mickie James versus Michelle McCool versus Maria (Diva's Championship)

This is the best possible women's match that the WWE can come up with. We won't be getting Miss WrestleMania this year (hopefully not). This could also go down as James w/ Maria versus Beth w/ McCool. I just threw this in as Beth is getting her own sitcom, James is coming out with a country CD, Maria has a pop CD and TV show with Trump coming up, and McCool is always around the title. With those four key things playing a role in the decision as I expect WWE to use the title to give more press to their chosen starlet, I see James walking away still with the belt as I don't see James getting that short of a title run.

Chris Jericho versus the Miz/Big Show

Everyone wants Edge versus Jericho at Mania. I, however, see it as a bad thing because with the Rumble win, I see them wanting to put the strap on Edge if they go this route. And if they do, it makes Jericho having a small title run which does nobody justice. This is the better route as they can finally finish this feud as Jericho can wrestle against Miz to show Big Show that Miz is not better than himself or Big Show against Jericho to see which partner was better. Either way, I don't see Jericho walking away as the winner and ShowMiz looking really strong in the process. And this could happen because ShowMiz are champions and therefore, crossbranded. Maybe even throw up the IC Title if Miz is fighting Jericho as Jericho holds the most reigns. There are a lot of good things they can do with this if they go this route.

Rey Mysterio versus CM Punk

Talks of a hair versus mask match have been on the internet for a while. They kind of set up a match by having sXe jump Rey on TV this week. They can set up having Rey defeat Punk in the Chamber and this is a way for Punk to get revenge against little Rey Rey. If this is a mask versus hair match, I expect Rey to win. If it is a regular match, Punk comes out on top. What I will say that I'm pretty confident that will happen is that Rey will come out wearing some sort of comic book character mask.

Randy Orton versus Cody Rhodes versus Ted DiBiase Junior

You can't just have Ted versus Orton at Mania as that leaves Cody out of it. This way, all of Legacy has equal time at Mania and all get over. This will be the last time all three Legacy members are inside the ring together as I believe one of them will be drafted to Smackdown while the other two feud until summer. With that said, I see Orton walking away the winner.

John Cena w/ Bret Hart versus Batista w/ Vince McMahon (Street Fight)

I think we can all agree that Hart doesn't need to fight. A street fight with McMahon isn't going to be pretty as Hart can hardly break equipment without falling over. So have Cena and Batista tear each other apart. McMahon comes out, helps Batista, then Hart comes out, goes to town on McMahon, hooks in Sharpshooter when Cena has the STF on Batista, they both tap out, embrace, and BAM! WM moment right there.

Triple H versus Shawn Michaels (WWE Championship)

HHH walks out with the title inside the Chamber. Edge declares he wants Undertaker at Mania to stop the streak. HHH keeps calling out Michaels, who finally shows up and attacks Hunter, saying Hunter is always thinking about himself and never helping him out. He's sick of riding his coattails as he's never given a title match or gets to do anything. The match is set up for Mania with Hunter taking out Michaels and setting up a small little feud until Michaels decides to take more time off.

Edge versus Undertaker (World Heavyweight Championship)

Edge was supposed to have taken out Taker at WM the first time they fought, but plans changed. This time, Edge is back, and he wants to end Taker. However, it won't happen this night. Edge loses and Taker wins the match to retain the title...

All of a sudden, Christian comes out, cashes in his cash, and WINS the World Heavyweight Championship. Months of being stuck on ECW, having to pander to the fans, working his way back up the ladder, this whole year of being screwed over again and again over people that do not deserve the title and he does it. He defeats Taker at Mania, which Undertaker will then disappear until next Mania, and sets up Christian as the top dog on Smackdown. Edge and Christian can then team up or we can have the dream feud between the two. Maybe even have Edge help Christian defeat Taker. Lots of things to play around with.

And that's my card. I know a lot of you are going to come on and say, no, Taker and Michaels will happen, it has to happen, etc. But, didn't the whole internet world say Christian was going to be the guy to destroy Jeff Hardy's life, but it turned out to be Matt Hardy? And how many people thought CM Punk would win back to back MITB matches? In the WWE, things change minute by minute probably. Until it is on the card and it happens, I got my doubts. But hopefully you enjoy my WM card and I'd love your feedback on it.
