Draft Dodging, Chapter 2

Seventy-two days separate us from the 2010 NFL Draft, one which shapes to have a huge emphasis on defense.

St. Louis is on the clock, and it appears they will settle between Nebraska man-mountain DT Ndamukong Suh or mammoth Oklahoma State OT Russell Okong. As bad as the Rams are, either pick would be a welcome addition to a franchise light years away from respectability, let alone playoff contention.

From there, expect teams to solidify holes on defense. Players who can either sack the quarterback or cause turnovers will be the order of the day, as the team-see, team-do mentality of the NFL will have franchises seeking defenders who can make impact plays in much the same manner as the New Orleans Saints used their D to capture Super Bowl 44.

Detroit would love for Suh to fall to them, but the Lions will gladly settle on Oklahoma DT Gerald McCoy. Tampa Bay -- sitting in the third spot -- most likely would take game-changing S Eric Berry of Tennessee.

Tim Tebow? Unlike the first mock, Everybody's All-American won't be one of the first 32 taken.
