The NFL Mock Draft Database weekly mock munch is complete. It's a biggie, our biggest ever, Munching 93 updated mock drafts together to come up with the Top 9 pick leaders. We munched together all Mock Drafts updated between 2/3/10 and 2/11/10, a total of 93 MOCKS! That beats our previous high of 76. This will give you the ultimate image of just what the Mocks drafts are projecting based on their gut, their analysis, their inside info, and their perception of each teams needs. Of course, this will all change post free agency and NFL Combine, so stay tuned, bookmark the Database, and visit it often. Now, on to the Munch Leader for the Top 9 Picks (to be a Database CONSENSUS PICK, 65% of the updated mocks must project that player at that pick): For a further breakdown of the 2nd and 3rd choices, go to our FORUM.
1st Pick: ST. LOUIS RAMS (CONSENSUS CHOICE)
DT Ndamukong Suh. Suh has been the Top pick here for weeks. He has remained consistently not only the leader, but the CONSENSUS choice. Currently, 71% of the 93 most updated mocks projectSuh to the Rams. The St. Louis media has been speculating the Rams may be looking at quarterback, either Sam Bradford or Jimmy Clausen. Right now, mock draft writers are not buying it as Suh's projection remain remarkably consistent. If the Rams chose a QB with the first pick, it will alter picks 2 and 3 immediately, as the Rams would most certainly take the big boy from Nebraska. Suh is the best defensive player in this draft. There has been some arguments back in forth in the media and blogosphere on which is the better DT, Suh or Gerald McCoy. It's a close call, but in my opinion, Suh is the best DT and best defensive player in the draft class. To me, he is a no-miss pick for the Rams.
Trends: None. Suh has remained remarkably consistent between 65% and 74% at No. 1.
2nd Pick: DETROIT LIONS (Leading Pick)
