What Is Happening To UNC: UNC Is Doing Bad After Winning The Title

The North Carolina Tar Heels just won the NCAA Natinal Championship.

But now they lose 2 great players. Tyler Hansbrough and Ty Lawson.

Right now North Carolina is have a less thean average season, they stink.

But you can not expect a team like this to be number one every year. They get recruits, the star in the NCAA for 1 or 2 years then thier off to the NBA and Roy Williams is stuck with a bunch of rookies.

Last year on February 11th, they were 22-2. This year in February 10, they are 13-11 and are in danger of not making the tournament.

Right now their RPI is 79, they average 16 turnovers a game and last year they averaged only 12.

Last year they averaged 90 points and now their barley above 80.

Last year thier FG% was 480, now its only 470.

What this shows me is they have the numbers to be a top 10 team but they can not pull through and they can not play defence.

Right now they are second to last in the ACC. They are a half of a game above NC State and will play them on February the 13th.

Right now i can not see UNC in the NCAA Tournament this March. They might make a run in the NIT but thats it.

Last year they were at the top of the world, now thier at the bottom of the ACC, good luck Roy Williams.
