NBA Soup Rumor Mill: Tracy McGrady to the Knicks in Three-Team Trade?
There is a report coming from Yahoo! Sports that the Houston Rockets could be in preliminary discussions in a three-team trade involving Tracy McGrady and possibly Brendan Haywood, Caron Butler, and Al Harrington.
The two teams that are reportedly in discussions with the Rockets are the New York Knicks and the Washington Wizards.
So far, this current deal would send McGrady to the Knicks, Harrington to the Wizards, and Butler and Haywood to the Rockets.
However, it is also being reported that Washington would desire more than just Harrington in return for Butler and Haywood.
Needless to say, while this trade is a very real possibility, it is still very far from being a done deal.
The Miami Heat have reportedly emerged as possible suitors for Amar'e Stoudemire and have expressed heavy interest.
While the Boston Celtics brass have strongly denied shopping veteran guard Ray Allen, they have admitted to be listening to all trade proposals.
The Cleveland Cavaliers have been quiet about the trade market lately, but still haven't closed the door on striking a deal.
