Life After Chelsea: Gunners Misfire Again and Again and Again..
Following the spluttering of Arsene's young guns in the away defeat, Arsene Wenger is again ravaged by the media. Apparently, him and Ballack trade verbal shots over the internet as well. Those exchanges are apparently seen on a youtube comment box. 'We play real football!' by Ballack76 and 'I did not see it' by Arsenegunnarz.
The English press also go 'yay' for the now pretend title challenge which has hit a brick wall and a half. They also throw the Arsenal title shot into the furnace after buttering them up as contenders for the EPL.
2-0 seems a fair score for the Chelski giants who tower over the Arsenal 'midgets'. I beg your pardon. Arsenal is 5'11 on average. But even as a diehard Arsenal fan, I am appalled when I see Arshavin surrounded by Carvalho, Terry, Essien in the penalty box upon a corner kick. I question whether someone can actually 'challenge' for a glimpse of a ball if these blue goons are blocking out the sun.

And why does Nasri continously launch crosses into the box? If someone could find me a statistic saying how several crosses by Nasri were converted into multiple hat-tricks, I would not ask this question. I also found that Walcott lost his running shoes. Ashley Cole stuck to him like glue and battered his legs left right and centre. If Wenger wants to play on the ground and like Barcelona, perhaps his players should try to play on the ground and actually run at defenders and go past them.
To compare the Arsenal of today to the long-gone Invincibles would be quite impossible. Arsenal men do not run at defenders (there are no mazy dribbles), we have no Thierry Henry, and our new skill consists of sneakily passing the ball around, throwing our opponents into a sleep-induced, painfully boring submission while our forwards creep into great tap-in spots.
What is this new passing style that throws Arsenal back into oblivion? It seems Wenger has conquered the small-team effect so far but are rocked when the big guns roll into town. They obviously see through this trick of ours and will just wait, lick their chops until they can pounce on a missed pass/ sh*t cross/ or wasted corner.
Fabregas is a great player. No questions asked. But perhaps the formation suits Fab more than it suits Arsenal? I am sure that more than one Arsenal player can lead an attack by himself, or draw the defence to one side without wasting another fast break. Clichy and Sagna, the right hook and left hook of Arsenal's attack are bogged down. Arshavin, the occasional genius is perhaps given a job that he cannot do, which is to score goals as much as possible without the ball at his feet.
Thierry Henry used to distribute the ball to forwards and midfielders alike and would rack up a ton of assists. Van Persie was doing that job until a horrible ankle injury hit him hard whilst on duty for Holland. Even after the fetus placenta treatment, RVP is still watching Arsenal from his mansion and can only wait until his white blood cells fix his stupid ankle.
Arsenal fans are in the sh*tter right now. All we can do is wait and pray that - Rooney breaks his foot in a collision with Drogba during another useless international friendly. Unless, Bendtner is given a starting role. He's not great but would probably give more of a physical edge to the Arsenal attack.
Wenger needs to get out of this 'Barcelona-esque' 4-3-3. Unless he can throw in a striker that can smash in these crosses which are being launched at imaginary targets. Oh. I also forgot something. If you want to compare Barcelona to Arsenal, the 3 upfront in Barcelona's attack are Lionel Messi, Thierry Henry and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
