What Can We Expect from the New Unified Tag Team Champions?
During last night's edition of Monday night RAW, the latest clash for the unified tag team championship ended in a surprising twist with the crowning of two unlikely partners in The Big Show and The Miz. After the Straight-edge society were eliminated by DX, few were expecting "Show-Miz" to capitalise on the situation and come off with a win but it was done.
For starters, before you continue reading, be aware that my opinions as expressed in the article do not represent my actual feelings towards the new champions but rather the possibilities and threats that could arise.
For starters, we can all agree that this is the latest case of "random pairing" that has occurred amongst the WWE roster. These two men obviously have little in common and also closely resemble the style and mannerisms of Jerishow. The Miz will provide the team with a great degree of heat and microphone technique, while the Big Show will back up his opinions in the ring as a henchmen.

But then again, does this mean that Vince McMahon sees the Miz as the future Y2J? Can we expect The Miz to be competing against the likes of John Cena and Randy Orton in the near future? Does this pairing mean that The Miz is a Big Show level competitor? Which title reign will the Miz focus on?
After scanning through the various feedback of the Internet wrestling community, I noticed a lot of fans believed the creative division made a mistake by not giving the titles to the Straight-edge society, which is currently on the verge of a major push.
So in defence why does the S.E.S really need the championship? It would help to solidify this stable as a powerful gathering, but wasn't that already obvious? I'll admit that I was expecting CM Punk and Luke Gallows to snatch the win. With DX now focusing on a on a friend vs. friend rivalry, the point of DX harbouring the championship was at steady decrease so it was not surprising that the title change was in the works.
But why Show-Miz?
Well, personally, I believe that the S.E.S can make any feud they become involved in (possibly against Mysterio or Christian at WM 26) work with or without the championship.
But what about all the other deserving teams? What about the Hart Dynasty? What about Cyrme Tyme? What about the DudeBusters?
So who will they feud with? With the WWE currently on the road to Wrestlemania 26 does this mean that Show-Miz's title reigns will culminate with a match at the biggest event of the year? What does this mean for the rivalry between the Miz and MVP? Could we see a revival of the critically acclaimed web show, the Dirt Sheet?
If i'm not mistaken, one to two weeks before the Royal Rumble Kofi Kingston became involved in the Miz/MVP feud by defeating the Miz in a non title match in response to MVP's loss the Big Show. Could their first defence be against Kofi Kingston and MVP? How will the S.E.S and DX respond? We will just have to wait and see....
