Breaking News: Brooke Hogan Joins TNA?

Zach DuncanFeb 8, 2010

According to Canada's SLAM! wrestling news website, there are rumors that Hulk Hogan's daughter Brooke "might take an on-camera role with TNA." This is apparently due to her stalled music and TV career.

Now, I would love to believe that TNA isn't that stupid, but with people like Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff holding the reigns, I'm not so sure. While this is just a rumor, Hogan has done nothing since joining TNA except bring in a bunch of guys from the old WWE/WCW days, some of which were never very big to begin with.

So, why not bring in his own daughter?

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if he did.

Shoot, if he was still married and his son wasn't in jail he would probably bring them in too. If nothing else, it's Hogan using his nearly unlimited power in TNA to do whatever he wants.

My guess is this is Hogan's way of saying "Hey, Vince McMahon brought in his family, I'll do the same thing for some strange sort of revenge!"

There's a big difference here, Hulkster.

Linda, Shane, and Stephanie actually currently work or worked for the WWE, so they have at least some idea of what's going on.

Shane actually had some good matches (such as the Last Man Standing match with Kane), and Stephanie put Triple H in some great storylines (the McMahon/Helmsley regime, the most recent feud with Randy Orton).

And of course, Linda received a Stone Cold Stunner once or twice (who in the McMahon family hasn't?)

What exactly can Brooke bring to TNA?

I guess we'll just have to wait and see if this actually happens.

Not to mention the stupidity will follow if it does. My question is, can TNA survive with not one but two Hogans?
