Kindle lined up as a Defensive End while at Texas, but because of his smaller size (6′4″, 255 lbs.), Kindle could be an ideal outside linebacker.

He will be best utilized in a 3-4 defensive scheme, due to the fact that he has the speed to match up with receivers. He does a great job of getting his hands up to deflect passes or cause the quarterback to adjust his arm motion. Kindle can cover the flats very well, which will also help him transition to an outside linebacker.

Kindle's greatest asset is his pass rushing ability. As I mentioned before, he has freakish speed that gives him a great jump off the line. He will beat most tackles off the ball, and this will give him an edge in the eyes of NFL scouts with potential to be a DeMarcus Ware clone.

Now for someone so quick, you wouldn’t expect them to tackle as well as you would like for a linebacker. However, Kindle is a violent tackler. He gets to the ball carrier so fast that when he makes contact, it’s like a freight train coming at them. His long wingspan gives him an advantage at stopping the ball carrier and ripping at the ball.
