Saints Win Super Bowl XLIV: Is Peyton Manning's Legacy Stained with Pick-Six?
On a drive that could have helped define Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton Manning and put him into the Pro Football Hall of Fame tomorrow, he does the last thing that he ever should have done.
Throw an interception that was returned 74 yards for a touchdown by Saints cornerback Tracy Porter.
Now Manning and his Colts are down by two touchdowns with only a few minutes remaining, but has this most recent breaking news slightly stained Manning legacy?

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Most likely not, because once he retires he will have almost unbeatable passing records, but getting another Super Bowl ring would have enshrined him now.
At least, Manning showed his passion and drive to win and he just completed a 41-yard pass to receiver Austin Collie to get the Colts offense to the Saints' 29-yard line at the two minute warning.
Never count out Manning because he has won games down by 14 points or more with only couple minutes remaining in the game in the past, but with being down by two score that Colts were trying to run the ball in the endzone from in the redzone.
Why are they running with time dwindling?
It doesn't matter because the Saints' bend-but-don't-break defense held their ground and stopped Manning on fourth and goal to win Super Bowl XLIV.
This was not only the Saints' first trip to the Super Bowl in the history of the game, but they also won their first Super Bowl at the same time.
Manning falls just short of ring number two, but do not doubt Manning's unwavering ability as a competitor and he and the Colts will be ready to get back to the big game in next year.
Will the Saints be waiting for them?
Anything can happen on any given Sunday.
