Rangers Tribune Olympic Coverage Live from VAN

Rangers TribuneFeb 7, 2010

With the Olympic Games just about a week away and not much hockey action today being that it is Super Bowl Sunday, I thought I would take the opportunity to fill readers in with the latest details on the coverage I will be providing here on the blog live from Vancouver in a couple weeks.

I will be arriving in Western Canada on Tuesday, February 16th, and will return home on the 20th. During that time, I will be attending four, count ‘em, four Men’s Hockey games at General Motors Place. My hockey schedule will be as follows:

Tuesday, Feb 16
Men's Hockey: 4:30pm Canada vs Norway

Wednesday, Feb 17
Men's Hockey: 4:30pm Sweden vs Germany

Thursday, Feb 18
Men's Hockey: 12pm USA vs Norway

Friday, Feb 19
Men's Hockey: 4:30pm Czech Republic vs Latvia

Please keep in mind that the listed times are in Vancouver time, not Eastern Time. New York time (Eastern) is three hours ahead of Vancouver. I will be tweeting live updates with pictures from every game at twitter.com/RangersTribune in addition to updates with pictures here on the blog as often as possible.

I will be looking to post updates live from the scene every time I get an opportunity to, and will also be putting up some of my posts at BlueshirtBanter.com .

This is one of those once in a lifetime kind of things and I would love nothing more but to share the experience with the readers and fans. It is great for the blog, great for the community, and great for hockey. I am honored to be able to write to you live from the events.

I will be focused on the Rangers until then, though, and that will start on Monday. For now, I'll be watching the Caps/Penguins and Canadiens/Bruins, followed by the Colts and Saints in Super Bowl 44 later tonight.
