Kevin Harvicks Wins @ Daytona In Bud Shootout

Kevin Harvick took the win in the Bud Shootout at Daytona on Saturday night it was his second race win in a row in the event and he was the 2007 Daytona 500 champion. Kevin was feeling under the weather and never really got any seat time this week but he was strong saturday night. Carl Edwards lead the first 40-41 laps and looked good after the first pit stop it got intense Kevin Harvick, Jamie McMurray and Tony Stewart were strong all night and a wild finish in a green white checker lead to this Jeff Gordon got into Greg Biffle causing a multi car wreck on the final restart unless Greg Biffle cut a tire. Bad night for Michael Waltrip, Mark Martin, Matt Kenseth, Carl Edwards, Greg Biffle and Kurt Busch and Jeff Burton who ended up in accidents. Heres your top 8 from the Budweiser Shootout.

Not a bad night for Jimmie Johnson or Dale Jr they finished outside the top 10 but not what they wanted im sure.

I for one would love it if nascar would allow for a green flag finish no matter how many attempts at a green white checker but thats just my view.

Also Mark Martin won the pole for the 52nd Daytona 500 and Dale Earnhardt Jr will start second thats the front row. The duel races will be thursday on Speed.
