Bobby Gerhart Wins ARCA Race @ Daytona

Bobby Gerhart did his sponsor well as he won the Lucas Oil Slick Mist 200 @ Daytona International Speedway on Saturday evening. James Buescher started from pole and led early but after several accidents and we seen a red flag, for a big accident and two cars got upside down on saturday. Gerhart got to the lead halfway thru the race and was strong he took the win in the season opener and now the series heads to Palm Beach International Raceway on Feb 26. Great run for Danica Patrick finishing in 6th, 6 females in the race only 3 finished Allie Owens had a great run and was third but ended up finishing 23.

I personally would like to see the ARCA Race moved to friday night because its usually just practice on friday anyway, and maybe make the race longer than 80 laps due to the cautions and wrecks and i wish more ARCA races were on tv during the year great series.
