James Buescher On Pole For Daytona ARCA Race
James Buescher won the pole in the 51 Phoenix Construction Toyota for Saturday's ARCA Re-Max Series Lucas Oil Slick Mist 200 season opening race at Daytona. His lap of 49.575 at 181.543 mph was good enough to take pole as he did a year ago and won the race so he is strong on the plate tracks and did run some nationwide races and truck series races in the past. He wil start beside Mikey Kile and Joey Coulter who lineup second and third on the grid. And of course this weekends big news is Danica Patrick who will debut for JR Motorsports she has run well in practice and testing and starts 12th, there is also another open wheel driver in the race saturday with Nelson Piquest Jr starts seventh he came from formula one and Milka Duno another female indycar driver is also in the race with several other ladies who qualified for the race and this is good for the sport glad to see more ladies making it in race. Bobby Gerhart who won 5 races at Talladega is a master on drafting and plate tracks he will start 8th and the 10 time champion in arca Frank Kimmel will start 13th. Tune into speed saturday @ 4:30pm for the race at Daytona and if year's past are any indication this will be a wild one again. Here is the top 5 from Friday Qualifying.
