As you may have noticed, last week we expanded the Database from the Top 5 picks, to the Top 8 picks. We added one more columns this week and the Database now features the Top 9 picks in the draft. Think we can get to 10? For the very FIRST time, we have also decided to Munch all 9 picks so you can see which players are among the leader of the mock draft projection for the first 9 picks in the draft.
What is remarkable is the consistency of the mock drafts. There is not a ton of shifting going on from week to week. IN fact, the Top 5 picks have remained consistent for weeks now.
We munched together all mock drafts updated from January 31st through today, February 3rd. Without further ado, here are your Top 9 leaders. We also list the 2nd and 3rd, plus give you a trending player in that spot. If a player is at 60% or above, we label them CONSENSUS leader.
1st Pick: ST. LOUIS RAMS (Consensus Choice)
DT Ndamukong Suh: Suh has exactly 60% of the 47 most updated mocks projecting him to he Rams. Suh has led in the Database as the first projected pick for weeks and weeks. He is the most dominant defensive player in the Draft and one of those NO-MISS players.
Here are the Top 3: Ndamukong Suh (60%), QB Jimmy Clausen (29%), QB Sam Bradford (11%)
Trend: None. It has remained remarkably consistent with Suh hovering between 58% and 65% for weeks
