Could Loic Remy Ensure a Revitalized Title Challenge for Arsenal
After a dismal effort against rivals Manchester United, Arsene Wenger has stepped up pursuit of talented Nice striker Loic Remy. With Arsenal lacking a "hitman" upfront, Wenger is in desperate need of a strong striker, and Remy fits the package.
The Frenchman has been forced to use the likes of Andrei Arshavin as his main striker. Although the tiny Russian magician is tremendously skillful and has a tireless work ethic, the 28-year-old lacks strength and an aerial threat.
Although Nicklas Bendtner has returned from a lengthy lay off, the lanky Dane is still very rusty and will take time to return to full fitness and form.

Loic Remy is considered to be the next Theirry Henry and is also expected to become one of the best striker in Europe. The Frenchman is extremely versatile and thrives in the lead striker role. At 6'1" the 23-year-old can offer good aerial threat and power through the middle.
At 23 Remy is still young and French, which is usually perfect for Wenger. It is rumoured that Wenger opted to get the French international on loan but was refused. But after the devastating 3-1 loss to United, Wenger is prepared to offer cash.
It is unclear how much the Arsenal boss will offer, but it is apparent the French side Rennes offered £13 million, and an offer is on the way from giants Lyon. It is unlikely Wenger will want to spend much, but Remy is needed too badly for Wenger to be stingy.
A fresh face is needed in the Arsenal camp, and with some big matches ahead, Arsenal cannot afford to drop a point. A new attack threat can help revitalize Arsenal and enable more strength upfront.
Remy has glorious potential, and with star striker Robin van Persie still a month or two away, Arsenal could do with Loic Remy.
