Evan Bourne: The Most Underappreciated Wrestler In The WWE

Well the WWE did it again as they disrespected Evan Bourne in the Rumble as he was eliminated first. Ever since Bourne has been in the WWE he has been nothing but disrespected so this doesn’t come as a surprise to me. In my opinion I think that Bourne is the one of the talentest wrestlers in the WWE, don’t get me wrong I know he has some work to do with his mic skills but, he is worth at least the ECW, IC, or U.S. Championship.

Speaking of ECW it was obvious that he wasn’t ready to leave yet, he needed more time to hone his mic skills. While at ECW he only had one chance at the ECW championship and him and Matt Hardy had a great match; But that was his only chance.

Then as he was on the up rise in ECW actually getting a little bit of push at the time he breaks his ankle due to the incompetence of Bam Neely, which ultimately made Bourne miss up to 3 months which included the Royal Rumble and Wrestlemania. I would have loved to see what he could do with money in the bank; but that is not what happened as he sat on the sidelines and watched as it happened.

When he came back on march 17 2008, I thought he would be right back in the fold but I was sadly mistaken as he was unfortunatly drafted to RAW and was lost in the shuffle and saw guys like the Miz, Sheamus, and Drew Mcintyre pass him by.

As you can probably tell I might be a little bias, I mean there is others that deserve more acknowledgment ( Shelton Benjamin, Dolph Zigglar,etc.) and maybe I'm completley wrong. But all I can say is that when the next draft comes I see him getting drafted back to ECW where he can be appreciated.
