Dale Earnhardt Jr: Nascar, TV, And Tracks Need Him To Win In 2010

NASCAR needs for Dale Earnhardt jr to make his presence felt , they need for him to win races and make the chase.

After a down year in attendance and TV ratings, the sport desperately needs a spike .

There is no one in NASCAR who can bring those TV ratings or fill those seats like the number 88 can.

We all can agree on that, further more we could say Dale Earnhardt jr is the Tiger Woods of NASCAR.

He can make the difference between a season of poor attendance and a sold out one.

He has that kind of power over this sport.

The bottom line is simple, no matter how much folks and NASCAR love him, he still needs to win, he needs to make the chase and also be in contention for a championship.

If Dale Earnhardt Jr. can get multiple top fives and tens and win two or three races this year NASCAR ratings will go through the roof.

Imagine if he makes the chase and throughout all 10 races Dale has a reasonable chance to lead the championship and put himself with a chance to win it all at Homestead.

Think about it!

That would be a more marketable story for NASCAR than the No 24 or No. 48 winning their fifth championship.

Can we agree on that?

One thing for sure, you can bet your sweet wife, if this scenario does happen , you better go get your tickets while you can still buy them for double figures.

I can only imagine what the crazy JR NATION will pay for one on e-bay, they might be willing to mortgage their house .

Yes! those folks are that crazy. and I say that with all the love for the Jr. nation, wish I had one person in my life who was that loyal , heck, even my dog bites me once in a while.

These are hard economic times, I’m in the automobile business, everyday seams to be a struggle, always looking to do something different to get a new sale.

I know auto dealers are always trying to find the silver bullet to cure all ills in their business.

Is not easy.

NASCAR has an easy solution to their economic problems(if they actually have one):

Get Dale Earnhardt Jr. to the front in 2010!

NASCAR, sponsors, television, the tracks and owners are lucky, they got the cure all to what ills the stock car business.

They just have to get Dale Earnhard Jr. to the front no matter how many cautions they got to throw.
